"Bubbles" 16x20 Acrylic on Canvas

I became super inspired by water and flower photography, so I set up a little still life in my backyard. I immersed flowers in rainwater, turned on a hose, and snapped countless reference photographs. This piece is a combination of several of my favorite images, and I really enjoyed composing and painting it.  I'm looking forward to making more pieces like this one!

Crystals

Painted some crystals today! It's so gross and rainy out, I didn't want to do ANYTHING outside....so...First ever Daily Painting in Oil!

Change of Direction!

So...I've started painting puddles! It rains...a lot...here in Oregon. At least from the months of October-May. And the puddles are gooorgeous! I decided to try and capture them for a bit. Enjoy!
